Southwest Chicken Recipe

I got this recipe from www.graciouslysaved.com website. She has some really good recipes. You need to give some of them a try.For this recipe you will need the above ingredients.
3-4 chicken breasts that weigh about 2 pounds. I used two large breasts.
16 oz jar of salsa added on top of the chicken.
 1 can of corn drained.
 Add to the top.
1 can of black beans drained. I used my home canned beans. That was 1 pint jar.
 Add to the pot.
Cook on low for 7-8 hours. You can cook on high  for 6-7 hours.
About 30 minutes before eating remove chicken  from pot.
You will need to shred it.
Add that back into the pot.
Now you will need 8 oz of cream cheese.
 Cube it up.
 Add to the pot.
Mix it all together and let the cheese melt.
You can serve this over rice or lettuce. You can top it with cheese if you like. This is a complete meal by itself with the vegetables added in.
This was really good. Hope you give it a try. You can also freeze this meal. Just don't add the cream cheese.
Until next time enjoy your day.
