Vicksburg Part 2

We are back at the National Historical Site of Vicksburg. We are going to visit the cemetery and the USS Cairo.

The Ship is located outside. The Museum was closed the day we went there.

I tried to line the photos up with the plaques so you can read and look at the picture.

This is the final resting of the Union soldiers. We didn't make it to the Confederates cemetery.

You will notice two different headstones. The tall ones are for the soldiers who have names. The lower ones are unknown soldiers.

This is it for the Military Park. Tomorrow, I will show you all the museum's we were able to visit.
